Jed: Come have dinner with me.
Leo: Why?
Jed: Pierre Boileau is cooking tonight. Want to have dinner?
Leo: What’s he serving?
Jed: That’s your answer?
Leo: I’m just asking.
Jed: Well, I can tell you that the man specializes in a reinterpretation of classic Provançal cuisine. Cassoulet, Duck with green olives…
Leo: Yeah…

“the theme of this year’s event is ‘learning is delightful and delicious’ - as, by the way, am i.”

after a month-long countdown (and a surprising number of likes, replies, and reblogs - thanks, guys!) we’ve reached the top of my list of favorite female tv characters. i knew from the beginning that cj cregg would be number one, partially because the west wing is the oldest show on my list, but mostly because she was a boss. i always got the impression that cj was two or three steps ahead of everyone else in the room. she was damn good at her job and excelled in a workplace otherwise dominated by men, and she never took shit from anyone. she was sexy, hilarious, loyal and extremely intelligent. HBIC, indeed.
